ONE | If you love rainy fall like weather as much as I do, you'll love this site. It's called Rainy Mood, it's just the sounds of rain on loop...we had some rain this week, so I didn't have to use it but it's nice and calming if you just wanna unwind with coffee during nap time. I also listen to it with Bon Iver songs because, duh. 

TWO | Your September horror scope from Mothermag, cause we all need an excuse to justify why we're the we are some days. 

THREE | I guess I've been on a cleaning kick lately, but this thirteen ways to clean your house with apple cider vinegar, is amazing if you like to use natural cleaners. We have a zoo of pets and a baby, so i'm down for anything without harmful ingredients. 

FOUR | Saw this on buzzfeed today and I thought id' share with other mama's, hilarious.

FIVE | Local Natives have been around for a while and I haven't listened to their new stuff but this song use to be one of my favorites, especially this live performance.

Oliver has been nine months for like a month, lol. I kind of dropped the ball this month and kept forgetting to take his nine month photo, so we took it yesterday...he'll be ten months in two days, whoops.

I've gotta go put up Halloween decor around the house, we start celebrating in September because it's our favorite holiday and season! I promised my fiance that I wouldn't put up the outside decor until October 1st, so our tiny town doesn't think the Addams family moved in. 

LATELY

hello!

So I've been missing here on the blog lately. Last week, all of got sick, one by one and it was the worst. We have mostly recovered, except Oliver has a cough leftover.

It's taking me days to get things back in order, the laundry, my nails, the dishes, cleaning the house because it looked like it needed an exorcism. Things were get back to normal here on the blog again, I promise! But for now, I've gotta finish exorcising my house and drinking my weight in coffee. 

Hope Monday was nicer to y'all than it was to us!  

FRIYAY TOP 5

Here in Texas it's been a little cooler, thankfully. We had hit a new record of 106 degrees before we got rain to cool us down. It's been rainy, gloomy, and in the 70's-80's, so I've broken out my fall stuff, what am I saying....I keep some of the Halloween decor out all year, as my fiance and I are both huge Halloween fans. It's our favorite holiday, we almost had our son on Halloween. We even jumped the gun this past weekend and bought pumpkin spiced coffee to brew at home, no regerts. 

ONE | Loving everything about this simple fall look for inside decor.

TWO | I read this earlier this week when nursing Oliver to sleep. It took longer to get him to sleep, because I was losing my shit laughing at this woman's how to letter to her husband while she went on a girls weekend trip. 

THREE | Speaking of fall, this top 5 fall must haves list, is killing it. I already went and got boyfriend cardigans (bought the cheaper options at old navy)....now I wait patiently to wear them daily. 

FOUR | A cute and semi easy DIY project for the weekend, this floating birch plant shelves tutorial.

FIVE | We don't have cable so we live off of Netflix and Hulu as a cheaper option, cause cable is crazy expensive and we only watch a few channels. I've been on Hulu a lot lately and they've been showing Youtube commercials, and there's this one with this song on it. It's sad I get excited for commercials now so I get to hear it for like 5 seconds lol. It's so good and it gives me all the feels.

Also: sorry for the blog theme change again, as much as I love the colorful one, I had to change it. It was just too much going on, there's enough life and color in our photos so no need for color on the blog. Enjoy and happy Friday ya'll!

HAPPENING LATELY

Napping with dad, while mama got ready for a trip to the grocery store. Dad was totally faking it.

I love his angle kiss birthmark, I always wonder if it'll stay or move somewhere else as he grows.

We finally decided to do our engagement photos, you know like three months before the wedding. I wanted a fall color for my nails, I did great at staying in the lines....yea right.

I finished the blanket my sister asked for my niece so she has a blanket for daycare, the fabric says "because i'm your mom that's why" LOVE it.

Oliver started crawling on Friday (yay!), so since we've been working on walking.....he's totally thrilled about it.

We had my niece last night so my sister could go out for her birthday. Addy and I had a girls night,  painting our nails and building forts with cats. Don't worry, that's my grown up juice. 

Today we went to meet dad for lunch at canes, and I didn't want to just go home afterwards and be stuck inside the house with two kids on a rainy day,  so I decided to take a trip to target. Just a simple trip. Oliver had a complete blow out in the parking lot, everywhere. While I was getting him cleaned up and in a new diaper, he decided to pee, all over himself and his face. We went into Target with him in just a diaper, classy. Oliver got new clothes, he seems pretty proud of himself. Addy got a Barbie, her first barbie! Mama got coffee, then decided that was enough fun for me. Successful trip to Target! el oh el.

Then we jammed out to Best Coast the whole way home, because it's my go to summer tunes and i'm ready for summer to be over.

Side note, we go to target too much. Oliver is going to think it's his second home or something.

1. These hilarious moms, I've watched most of the videos and they are seriously funny. I would join their gang if I could. #imomsohard

2. Mother Mag August horoscope, because lets face it. We all like to over analyze everything and reading your horoscope helps put things into perspective sometimes.

3. The Beauty Department, it's my go to for a fresh new look or nail color ideas. But this is perfect for the mom on the go...especially when you didn't shower and you have to face other moms at a play date and pretend you're not the hottmess mom.

4. H&M is having an awesome sale right now and the kids section is perfect. We're ballin' on a budget currently with planning this wedding.

5. I didn't care for this song when I first heard it on the radio, but now i'm like obsessed. I was at my dad's this past weekend and he likes to watch music fest on his tv, from the comfort of his own house (genius), and we saw her perform at Lollapalooza and loved it. Happy Friday ya'll!
